Downtown Historic Collinsville
Free Shuttle buses will be available from the main site on Canton Springs Road to Downtown Collinsville. Buses will run from 10 am to 3:55 pm. Enjoy a leisurely stroll down Main Street, River Street or Front Street and visit the stores and restaurants, or wander over to Bridge Street and shop or paddle on the Farmington. Rentals available at Collinsville Canoe & Kayak.

Collinsville Welcome Tent in the Town Hall Parking Lot
Be greeted by our long time Welcome Tent Volunteer & Local Artist Walter Kendra and his volunteers. Information about the Sam Collins Day events and activities. Sale of the 2012 Sam Collins Day T-Shirts designed by local cartoonist Brad Gilchrist. Take the Free Shuttle bus to the Main Site.

Collinsville Events
10 am – 4 pm
Canton Historical Museum.
Take the free shuttle bus to Collinsville to visit the museum free of charge. See the 19th century brought to life in displays of home and working environments such as a Bridal Parlor filled with brides in their wedding gowns. There’s a display of children’s toys and a schoolroom, Collins tools and the manufacturing process, farm equipment and much more. Then visit the Farmington Valley Railroad Association’s model train layout with an historically correct view of Collinsville in the 1900’s and an extensive layout depicting the transition from steam engines to diesel.
