Sam Collins Day Schedule of Events: Collinsville
Events will take place from 10:00a - 4:00p unless otherwise noted.
Shuttle Buses will be available from the main Sam Collins Day Canton Springs site
to downtown Collinsville from 10:00a - 3:55p.
Historic Downtown COLLINSVILLE
Live music will be played from the Canton Historical Museum porch from 10:00a - 4:00p.

Collinsville Events
10 am – 4 pm
Canton Historical Museum. Take the free shuttle bus to Collinsville to visit the museum free of charge. See the 19th century brought to life in displays of home and working environments such as a Bridal Parlor filled with brides in their wedding gowns. There’s a display of children’s toys and a schoolroom, Collins tools and the manufacturing process, farm equipment and much more. Then visit the Farmington Valley Railroad Association’s model train layout with an historically correct view of Collinsville in the 1900’s and an extensive layout depicting the transition from steam engines to diesel. The Museum staff will be selling hot dogs, water and soda.
10 am – 4 pm
A Large Inflatable Slide will be set up at 10 Front Street to benefit the museum. $5 for unlimited slides!
1:00 pm
Walking Tour of Collinsville, hosted by local historian/writer David Leff. Meet at the front of the Canton Historical Museum.
10 am – 4 pm
Gallery 101 Main will have live art demos throughout the day featuring local artist Jim Koplar.
10 am – 4 pm
The Valley Car Collector Club members will be on hand with a variety of classic and antique cars.
1 pm – 4 pm
River City Art Center, 8 River Street will hold a chalk drawing
